Livestock, Home Arts & 4H Exhibits

The Cheboygan County Fair has a rich tradition of hosting exceptional agricultural, livestock and equestrian events. All week a variety of animals are on display in our several comfortable large barns.

The Cheboygan County Youth Livestock Program in co-operation with Michigan State University 4-H program hosts the Annual Youth Livestock Auction on the final Saturday of fair. This auction is your opportunity to purchase livestock products that are much higher in quality than what you buy at your grocery store while also supporting hard working youth from the community.

Cheboygan 4-H youth display and are judged on fruits and vegetables that they spend the summer growing. Within the last few years the Fair has also hosted a Farmers Market for the local growers to sell fresh produce. Check the schedule for dates on this event.

The Cheboygan County Fair also hosts a Tri-County Open Horse Show the first Saturday of Fair Week. Youth from the 4-H Youth Equestrian Program and Cheboygan County Youth Equestrian Program show their horses and riding skills on Monday (English Style Riding) and Thursday (Western Style Riding).

Please feel free to call the Fair office at 231-627-7051 with any questions on these programs and shows.

We can’t do it without you!
